Both of us had kept gerbils as teenagers long before we met, so it seemed
like fate that we should have gerbils again. Anyone who has had gerbils
will know what great fun they are. For such small animals they love human
interaction, whether you are feeding them sunflowers or just a giant
climbing frame. We have never know a gerbil who doesn't thrive on
attention, some may not be easy to keep hold of, but it doesn't mean they
don't like you.

We went to our local pet shop to look at
indoor bunny homes, only to discover they ran a small adoption centre.
We took one look at Berry curled up in a corner and we couldn't resist
giving him a home. |

More free pets! We went to the pet shop for some supplies and things
got out of control. So two new gerbils have joined our family. |

Four gerbils, we must have been mad! Oh but what an experience, this
bunch kept us very busy with their antics and cardboard chomping. |
