Toffee's entry:
Cleaning out time is so much fun. I can get into all kinds of trouble
while mum is busy and dad never keeps an eye on me. There is
so much to do in out room, curtains to nibble, things to climb and
gerbils to visit. Yes gerbils! I wasn't sure about having to share
our room with anyone at
first,
I like having mum and dad all to myself when I come out to play. But the
gerbils are alright, they don't make much noise and they can be fun.
So while I'm out and about I like to go and see them
and find out what they are up to. I can only get away with it while no one
is watching though. Dad tells me off it he catches me chatting to the
gerbils. I don't know why, they never seem to listen to anything I say.
Actually they don't seem to pay much attention to me at all, they're always just
chomping their silly gerbil food or cardboard! Why they do that I don't
know, but it keeps them out of my way.
Caramel's entry:
I like to see the gerbils too, although I do like to stay with mum and
keep and see
what
she's doing. After all it's my home and I need to be sure she knows
exactly where I like things. Mum is usually very good at
putting my home back together, but I always say it's best to be sure.
Sometimes she decides to go and change things around. She thinks that is
very exciting, but I'm not so sure. These
things are very important to me, it would be terrible if I got up in the middle
of the night for a snack and then couldn't find my way back to bed. Oh no
that would never do.
When I'm sure everything is as it should be I have to
go and find Toffee, he is terrible for getting himself into mischief especially
when I'm not there to keep an eye on him. I don't know what they would all
do without me. I'm such a responsible little rat. Not that I mind
because when the mood takes me to cause rattie trouble no one is ever paying
much attention to me and I can sneak off undetected, maybe I'll tell you about
it sometime.
Lindsay's entry:
After all that adventuring and bossing those two little guys were ready
for bed.
