Hello, we are Derek and Lindsay and we live in Suffolk, England. Over the years we have managed to fill our home with a variety of animal friends, including bunnies, cats, gerbils, guinea pigs and far too many rats.
Lindsay launched this website in 2001 and back then it was solely dedicated to our pets. In February of 2009 we re-launched the site in the format you see now. As well as continuing to feature ongoing updates about our pets, we have added a selection of short stories.

The RSPCA called us last week to see if we had room for a female rat that had been brought in who needed an experienced home. She was a little bit nervy, with a tenancy to nip and seeing as we had adopted a problem rat from them before, they thought they’d give us [...]

Pippin had the operation on his lump yesterday and everything went smoothly. We picked him yesterday afternoon and the poor little guy was still a bit wobbly. He was very glad to be back in his home and hid himself away for a good sleep. Come the evening he was looking a lot brighter and [...]
